Cyberpunk 2077 Item Upgrading Guide
It is a crucial component to maximizing the power of your gear. It allows you to add bonus stats onto the base value of your item.
Each upgrade template comes with several options that can be changed using the edition GUI. These options include upgrading reference as well as the possibility of upgrading.
Upgrade components
As part of the 2.0 update the upgrade system for weapons and armor in Cyberpunk was redesigned. Upgrade components are scattered throughout Night City. The item you'd like to upgrade should also have an upgrade slot. Other upgrades, with the exception for glyphs that are placed in gathering tools, are not able to be removed from an item after they have been placed. Infusions that can be placed in ascended equipment and legendary equipment, and enhancements that can only be recovered with an upgrade extractor, or by salvaging the item using an advanced salvage kit can be replaced every hour.
Recycled Items
During the last two world wars, a shortage of natural resources drove the world to embrace recycling. Recycling aluminum paper, plastic and even paper is a common practice. They are given a new life. These rerolls are useful in the beginning of the game, as you have to build up your inventory and dungeon equipment. However, upgrade item are not the most effective way to increase your character's stats. You should instead focus on gaining more skill points. You can also change your character's race with an reroll token for races, which can be purchased through the Zen Market. This token lets you change your race only once, and it can be redeemed through specific packs or through the Token Shop. Leveling
Leveling up an item during the upgrade process can increase its stats and Power Level. It also increases the cost and the amount of materials required to complete the upgrade process. The Upgrade NPC offers a service to facilitate transfers of gear. This allows players to save the experience and progress in upgrading a piece of gear and then transfer it to a new item in the same slot. This is beneficial for those who want to change their gear, but do not have the cash to purchase a brand new set.
