Diablo 4 Item Upgrades
Items upgrades are upgrade components which can be added to armors, weapons and trinkets in order to gain a bonus. They usually have a higher cost and require the item to be at an appropriate level.
Upgrades aren't always worth the cost for items that have high requirements. This is particularly applicable to items that don't roll much like Eth titans.
Glyphs
Once you reach level 50 the action-RPG Blizzard's changes from its simplified campaign to the final game. This is when things really start to change, as players are forced into the Paragon Board leveling system, Nightmare Dungeons and brand new grinds to ensure that their character's building is as strong as it can be.
Glyphs play a crucial role in this progression. Glyphs' stat attributes and affect radius on the Paragon Board are boosted by increasing their upgrade level. There are several ways to acquire these upgrades, but the majority of players will find themselves relying on the primary method of raiding Faction Crypts.
Glyphs allows you to insert symbols into your text. You can select them from the menu to the left side of the screen. The Glyphs panel shows glyphs based on the font in which your cursor is currently located. You can change the font or typestyle and narrow down the list to include only punctuation symbols using the option under the entire Font. You can view the CID/GID value and Unicode value of a glyph by moving your mouse.
After you've entered some glyphs after which the Glyphs panel will keep an eye on the last 35 distinct ones you used and display them under Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you need to expand the panel to see all 35). You can also remove the glyph from the list by pressing it using the right-click or Control-click, and then selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
The Glyphs Panel also lets you to design a custom set of glyphs, which is useful if frequently need to type certain text types. This will help you save the time of manually inserting each glyph whenever you need it.
A custom glyph may have the maximum of 30 glyphs. This includes both the base name as well as its suffix. The glyphs in the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z) and lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9) and underscore (_). The suffix may include ligatures, or contextual alternative. These are special variants that combine two or more letters into one glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the main mechanics that offer extra bonuses to items, including stats. Upgrades are available in three different types: rerolling, recycling and leveling up. Each type provides a different bonus on the item.
Reroll Tokens allow players to change an item's base power and number of upgrades as well as be used to reroll substats in ring. This can be useful if an item's fully upgraded (or "potential") power is less than the player would like or if its current substats are not ideal.
Rerolling costs 1 token, and will reset the item's upgrades but will leave the rarity, set and level of the item. Leveling an item up increases its level and with each tier, the main stat is boosted by +3, and a random extra stat is also boosted. The level of an item is increased by 1 when you level up an item to its highest possible level.
The Blueprint Desk allows players to purchase new appliances, ingredients and Decorations for their restaurant. Blueprints appear as envelopes at the start of each Preparation phase. They can be opened with Grab. Each blueprint has its own icon, and every category of upgradeable items has an icon that is distinct from the others:
The choice of a franchise card through the Blueprint Desk will allow you to obtain certain appliances or ingredients needed in certain recipes. Certain appliances and ingredients are considered staples, which means that they will never be available at the Shop or through a reroll, while others have a higher likelihood of being available if a particular Franchise Card is picked from the Blueprint Desk. This is known as the Staple Pool, and the items that are in it will remain in that pool for the remainder of the run. When purchased from the Blueprint Desk, non-staple equipment is also transferred to the Seed Pool.
Recycled Items
The third "R," recycle, is where the magic occurs. When you recycle a product made from recycled materials you are not only helping the environment but also giving the item a new life. This is because the majority of items that are recycled go back to the manufacturer of the original to be remanufactured to create a new product. This is referred to as "closing the recycling loop."
When someone puts something in their recycling bins at the curb, it is sent to a Materials Recovery Facility where it is separated and sorting. Then, upgrade item is sold on to manufacturers who will then re-make the item. Items that are typically transformed into new products include:
This process helps reduce the need to grow, harvest or extract raw materials from the Earth to make something new. This helps reduce the harm done to nature. Less trees are cut down, rivers are diverted, and wild animals are displaced. It also reduces the amount of pollution caused by the dumping of raw materials into our water, soil and air.
Purchasing recycled products helps keep local businesses and jobs going, especially for those who specialize in recycling materials. The demand for recycled products encourages companies to take part in this environmentally friendly effort.
The final reason to purchase recycled products is that it requires less energy to create new items out of recycled materials than to create them from raw materials. This is because the manufacturing process of creating a brand new aluminum can takes 95% more energy than the manufacturing of an identical aluminum can from recycled material. This is why every bit counts.
Leveling
Most units can be upgraded and gain XP every time they attack or are attacked. This XP can be used to unlock upgrades or to increase the stats of the unit. Weapons are a great illustration of this, as they can be leveled up, increasing their damage and range.
Most levels require a certain number of levels to be completed, though this may vary from game to game. Leveling is accomplished by spending either materials or coins. Most systems use both, though some use one.
